We are always very happy and excited to see new patients.
At Sydney Cosmetic Sanctuary, we pride ourselves in offering a very different experience than you may have received in the past at your dentist.
We strongly believe in taking time to get to know all of our patients, and building a relationship that will last. By offering longer initial appointments, we like to get to know our patients and their individual needs. This helps to tailor treatments and offer solutions that will suit each person, resulting in the best outcome possible.
How Often Should You Get a Dental Check-Up?
We recommend that all patients see a dentist at least twice a year for routine check-ups. This is the ideal frequency for removing tartar deposits from the teeth, conducting screenings, and intercepting any developing cavities since the last visit. If it’s been longer than 6 months since your last appointment, we invite you to visit our dental office so that Dr.Berera can help you once again gain control over your oral health.
Going back to the dentist for the first time can be a little unnerving. That’s why we strive to make our patients feel as comfortable as possible, and listen to your individual needs throughout the entire visit. From working around your busy schedule to discussing treatment options with you, Dr. Berera is focused on individual, personalised care that exceeds your expectations.
How do I become a patient?
Becoming a patient of Sydney Cosmetic Sanctuary does not require any referrals or special forms. It is as simple as a phone call to our reception or an online enquiry through this website. Our friendly front office co-ordinators will contact you to schedule an appointment time that suits you. They will take the time to chat about your needs and answer any questions you may have regarding treatment options. Once you have booked your appointment time, you will be sent a confirmation and welcome pack by email.
What do I expect at my first appointment?
Dr Berera offers a unique experience for all of her new patients. She will set aside one hour to 90 minutes to get to know you as an individual, which will help her to a form treatment plan that will be best for you.
The initial consultation will include a long consultation in a relaxed environment. There will be a full check up and exam. You may also have X-rays and photos taken, and perhaps other diagnostic information such as study models. At the end of this time, you will usually have an idea of some treatment options which will help to create your perfect smile.
